Description
Pexapark's Custom PPA pricing allows users to calculate location specific PPA prices based on the exact profile of a solar or wind asset together with a specific parameters of a battery. The result quantifies the higher capture factor for co-located assets compared to the capture factor of the same asset without storage. The so called "price uplift”, which refers to the additional revenue by adding a battery to a renewable asset. (Co-located BESS PPA price) - (PPA price) = Price uplift.

What to use the data for
Like our standard Custom PPA Calculator, which allows you to continuously calculate PPA prices, specific to your asset profile and location, with BESS support you can include the asset profile of a co-located battery to calculate the co-located PPA price. This allows you to compare the capture factors with and without battery storage.
